I was walking along the busy streets of Harlem the other day – between 114th and 115th – and aside from seeing all the cranes I noticed the gates were up on a retail space (See pic).  I wonder what this is going to be?  It looks nice from outside in terms of the space.  Either way its another positive sign toward Harlem Hotness on Frederick Douglass!

This afternoon (9/21) Experience Harlem sponsored a DJ’d House party in the upper reaches of Morningside Park. Families of all persuasions and racial compositions lounged on blankets strwen about the Lawn, noshing with friends and loved onsm while children romped and played with a variety of tools, real and imaginary. The music pumped. Local merchants participated. The sun was shining. Life was indeed great in Harlem on this fine Sunday, 9/21/08.
