Summer is almost here Harlem and so is the Sweet Spot festival summer season.  This year’s kick-off will be held on May 26, 2013 from 3-9pm at the beautiful West Harlem Pier.  This is a great event for the whole family to enjoy.

Sweet Spot Festival is looking for vendors to participate in the Sweet Spot Festival Market Place in Harlem on May 26, 2013 from 3-9pm featuring Herbert Holler of The Freedom Party, Rich Medina and other special guest.  The event will be the kick-off to our Sweet Spot festival summer season and is taking place at the beautiful West Harlem Pier by the river (across from Fairway)

Last summer the  Sweet Spot Festival debut received a great response from attendees and local media.  We are super excited to be coming back this summer with 5 festival dates. (More info to come on final dates and locations)

Vendor fees are $60 as mandated from the NYC Parks Department. We also provide rentals of tables, chairs and tents at minimal costs.

The Harlem Treasure Chest is an outdoor flea market that opened last spring on the corner of Frederick Douglass Blvd and West 117th Street.  They are partnering with Silent Voices United  to host a Children’s Monster Ball this 592191 159654400843960 1010551059 n Childrens Monster Ball at Harlem Treasure Chest this SundaySunday afternoon, October 28th from noon to 4 pm.  This free children’s event will include lots of tricks & treats, books, rides and special guest appearances by community celebrities and artists, who will judge the “Pablo Pumpicasso Children’s Art & Best Halloween Costume Contest”.

This is Harlem Treasure Chest’s last weekend. I hope they will return next year.  I have enjoyed browsing there over the last few months and have found a couple of gems amidst the assorted wares.
