I found it while walking around Revolutionary Square! In Havana, Cuba, they have a Floridita just like we do in West Harlem. Similar to our <a href=\"http:\/\/harlemworldblog.wordpress.com\/2008\/02\/13\/floridita-harlem-owner-looks-back\/\" target=\"_blank\">Floridita<\/a> located at 3219 Broadway in Harlem, they serve Cuban food and its Cuban owned. The major differences between the two restaurants, aside from location, are the history, notable guests and operations.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_10116\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-10116\" style=\"width: 180px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"http:\/\/harlemcondolife.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/20110126-123033.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-10116\" title=\"20110126-123033.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/harlemcondolife.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/20110126-123033.jpg?w=225\" alt=\"\" width=\"180\" height=\"240\" srcset=\"http:\/\/harlemcondolife.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/20110126-123033.jpg 480w, http:\/\/harlemcondolife.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/20110126-123033-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 180px) 100vw, 180px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-10116\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo by HarlemGal<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>At the moment, the Floridita in Harlem is closed temporarily. However, it opened some 30 years ago in Harlem and the food has received much praise.  The Floridita in Cuba has been open since the early 1800s and it has received guests, such as Ernest Hemingway and Graham Greene.<\/p>\n<p>To learn more about the Floridita in Cuba, <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Floridita\" target=\"_blank\">click here<\/a>. And as for our Floridita, I hope it reopens soon. I am going to be craving some roasted chicken with black beans and rice soon!
