When I saw this I honestly thought, &#8220;who the heck is that?&#8221; I later googled them, which <a href=\"http:\/\/harlemcondolife.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/20110201-125730.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/harlemcondolife.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/20110201-125730.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"180\" height=\"240\" \/><\/a>turned up their <a href=\"http:\/\/www.badhorsepizza.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">website <\/a>and a blog post about them riding into Harlem soon. And guess where? Yup! You guessed it! Frederick Douglass Blvd! The exact address is 2224 Frederick Douglass Blvd!<\/p>\n<p>I was very surprised to hear this news and double surprised that a pizza joint would be opening up on FDB. Why? We have Giovanni&#8217;s on 110th and Columbus Avenue, <a href=\"http:\/\/harlemcondolife.com\/2009\/01\/09\/pizzeria-123\/\" target=\"_blank\">Pizzaria 123<\/a> right next to 2280 Frederick Douglass Condos and we have <a href=\"http:\/\/harlemcondolife.com\/2010\/10\/12\/pizza-plans-a-possibility-for-harlems-settepani\/\" target=\"_blank\">Settepani supposedly opening up a pizza place<\/a> on 119th and Lenox Avenue. \u00a0It seems like we are good when it comes to pizza.<\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t get me wrong. I think its wonderful that a new business is opening up in the old space that Corcoran bolted from. However, a<a href=\"http:\/\/harlemcondolife.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/20110201-125755.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/harlemcondolife.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/20110201-125755.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"180\" height=\"240\" \/><\/a> pizza place with the words &#8220;bad&#8221; and &#8220;horse&#8221;  in it <a href=\"http:\/\/harlemcondolife.com\/?s=restaurant+row\" target=\"_blank\">to go along with <\/a>existing or upcoming places such as,\u00a067 Orange, Chocolat, Levain Bakery, 5 and Diamond, bier international, Melba&#8217;s and more?<\/p>\n<p>These questions come to mind. Is Bad Horse Pizza a strategic fit with FDB? And does it compliment the other businesses that have or are planning to open in the area?
