This past weekend I went to the premiere of <a title=\"Boy Scouts of Harlem\" href=\"http:\/\/www.harlemscouts.com\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">759: Boy Scouts of Harlem<\/a>, a documentary film about Scout Troop 759 from Harlem. The film played at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture located at 135th Street and Lenox.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1743\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1743\" style=\"width: 180px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1743 \" title=\"img_0622\" alt=\"HarlemCondoLife\" src=\"http:\/\/harlemcondolife.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/03\/img_0622.jpg?w=225\" width=\"180\" height=\"240\" srcset=\"http:\/\/harlemcondolife.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/03\/img_0622.jpg 270w, http:\/\/harlemcondolife.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/03\/img_0622-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 180px) 100vw, 180px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1743\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">HarlemCondoLife<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>I won&#8217;t go into too much detail about the film because I encourage everyone to go out and see it for yourself. However, what I will say is that the main character, Keith, is so adorable. All you want to do is root for him to succeed throughout the film and receive all the rewards of attending Boy Scout camp in upstate New York. In addition to watching Keith take on the challenges of camp, the other nice interesting aspect of the film is that it captures the potential of several young individuals. The film shows that these individuals can be or do anything they want in life, if they just stick with it and stay on the path to success, however they choose to define success. In my view, I saw future leaders in the making in this film. And if that ends up being the case&#8230;we&#8217;re all in good hands!
