\"Screen<\/a>If you get the chance, don’t miss the exhibition celebrating legendary photographer, filmmaker, musician and writer Gordon Park’s centenary year (he would have turned 100 on November 30th , 2012) at The Studio Museum<\/a> of Harlem<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Director and Chief Curator Thelma Golden<\/a> and Assistant Curator Lauren Haynes’ Gordon Parks<\/a>: A Harlem Family 1967, <\/em>features black and white photographs of the Fontenelle family, whose lives Parks documented as part of a 1968 Life magazine<\/a> photo essay<\/a>. It’s an intimate history, capturing the gritty essence of another time in Harlem.<\/p>\n

The show runs through March 10th.<\/p>\n
