Our Grand Opening Weekend kicks off\u00a0<\/span>tomorrow<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>October 15th to Sunday, October 16th! The weekend is\u00a0action packed with FREE activities for everyone. Activities such as our\u00a0inaugural 3-part exhibition\u00a0titled\u00a0<\/span>“<\/a>Home, Memory, and Future<\/a>,<\/a>” Calle Bemb\u00e9 neighborhood\u00a0party, food vendors, children’s art\u00a0activities, and Open House New York panels in collaboration\u00a0with\u00a0Apollo\u00a0Theater\u00a0and Positive Workforce.<\/p>\n The\u00a03-part exhibition\u00a0explores HOME\u00a0in the age of gentrification, dislocation, migration, exile, belonging, health and unaffordable housing.\u00a0The exhibition will feature work from 20 artists of various mediums, including augmented reality.\u00a0Renowned curator,\u00a0Lowery Stokes Sims\u00a0<\/strong>joins\u00a0Yasmin Ramirez,\u00a0Marta Moreno Vega\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Regina Bultr\u00f3n Bengoa<\/strong>\u00a0in curating\u00a0HOME, MEMORY, AND FUTURE<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n Free Admission<\/strong> From East to West, the heartbeat of Harlem–125th Street–once bustled with theaters, clubs and other music venues that embraced African American and Latino artists and audiences.
