The Arts Horizons LeRoy Neiman Art Center located at 2785 Frederick Douglass Boulevard in Harlem, is hosting its second annual ART\u00a0SPLASH\u00a0fundraiser\u00a0Thursday, June 6, from\u00a06-9 PM.<\/p>\n

The event includes a cocktail reception, hors d\u2019oeuvres from Harlem\u2019s leading restaurants, music, and an awards ceremony honoring\u00a0Muhammad Ali, Councilmember Inez Dickens, Walter J. Edwards,\u00a0<\/b>CEO of Full Spectrum,\u00a0<\/b>and\u00a0Londel Davis<\/b>\u00a0of Londel\u2019s Restaurant.\u00a0 The evening will be framed by a private viewing of the very special LARGER THAN LIFE art exhibition on view until June 8th<\/sup>.\u00a0 The exhibition highlights the works of\u00a0LeRoy Neiman<\/b>, and contemporary fine artists\u00a0Janet Byrne, Romare Bearden, Faith Ringgold, Otto Neals, Ramona Candy, Donovan Nelson, Tafa, Al Johnson, Paul DEO, Curtis James\u00a0<\/b>and\u00a0Sir Shadow<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The LeRoy Neiman Art Center is now in its fifth year of operation.\u00a0 Its mission is to strengthen the community by providing quality arts programming that supports life-long learning experiences, and building sustainable partnerships and collaborations. All proceeds from ART\u00a0SPLASH\u00a02013 will go towards The Center\u2019s programs and activities.<\/p>\n
