“Did it up” in Harlem. \u00a0The restaurant and nightlife scene was PACKED last Friday night in Harlem.<\/p>\n

I started at MOJO’S<\/a> <\/strong>for dinner and drinks with friends. \u00a0It was very crowded and I had the pleasure of meeting the legendary Kiki Shepard, longtime \u00a0co-host of “It’s Showtime at the Apollo” \u00a0who was sitting at the table next to me. \u00a0I talked with owner, Moon, for a long time as well. \u00a0Did you know that he sells his own brand of wine? \u00a0Pick one up if you’re a red wine lover. \u00a0Its very good. \u00a0Also learned that they have live music on Monday nights and this Spring\/Summer they will open the windows in the front with outdoor tables and in addition will have DJ’s some of the nights.<\/p>\n

After dinner headed to NECTAR<\/a><\/strong> to say hello to one of the owner’s Eric. \u00a0Also very full. \u00a0Then walked by SEVENTEEN B<\/strong> but didn’t go in. \u00a0Nice crowd but swung by QUESTAN’S<\/strong> <\/a>instead to say hello to Dee, the owner. \u00a0 She has to charge a cover now it gets so crowded (almost too crowded) on Friday & Saturday nights. \u00a0The music was pumpin’ and it was so packed you could barely move. \u00a0Might need a bigger space soon. \u00a0She has a very loyal local neighborhood crowd. \u00a0Sunday nights at Questan’s DJ’s play House Music now. \u00a0HipHop all other nights.<\/p>\n

After that we all headed over to 67 ORANGE<\/a><\/strong> to say hello to Karl, the owner. \u00a0There we closed out the night with wings and 2 orders of pepper popcorn while listening to a diverse mix of all different kinds of music.<\/p>\n

So go and support our local businesses next time you want to have a fun night out. \u00a0There are many many other good night spots as well… but this was only one night. Next time!<\/p>\n
