They are opening up their first Harlem location after the new year &#8211; hopefully in the first quarter of 2011.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/harlemcondolife.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/20101103-111215.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-9488\" title=\"20101103-111215.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/harlemcondolife.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/20101103-111215.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"144\" height=\"192\" \/><\/a>I spoke with a staffer from their 167 West 74th Street location about the expansion. I asked why are they coming to Harlem? Levain Bakery said &#8220;they see Harlem as an emerging community and it&#8217;s a community they believe in.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">Very sweet words and it seems consistent with their product. And the bread looks quite good as well.
