Everything’s better with a little soul on it! A follow up podcast to SOUL (one), comes SOUL (two) with more r&b, soul, some hip hop and classics. As with the first one, we never work up to a house beat with this mix either. But the downbeat grooves blended with the old school tracks will keep you satisfied from start to finish.
On this mix you can expect to hear Stevie Wonder, The Roots, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, Sade, Tribe Called Quest, Mary J Blige, Wyclef Jean, Fantasia, Missy Elliott, Faith Evans, John Legend, Caron Wheeler, Common, Aretha Franklin, Notorious B.I.G., Luther Vandross, Chaka Khan, Angie Stone and more.

The change of venue didn’t deter the crowds at the first Sundae Sermon of the 2013 season…in fact there were more good people grooving to good music than ever.
On a gorgeous sunny Sunday, St Nicholas Park resounded with pumping dance beats spun by legendary dj’s Louie Vega, Kevin Hedge and, of course, Stormin’ Norman himself. Folks swaying, kids playing, everyone meeting and greeting–Sundae Sermon is truly a Harlem classic. See you at the next one!

Sundae Sermon is back this coming Sunday August 26th at 2 – 7pm. We are very happy to hear that it will be held in Morningside Park at it’s usual location. This Sunday will feature DJ MKL, DJ Tommy Bones, DJ Des Uno alongside DJ Stormin’ Norman. Located on Morningside Drive (upper level) and 114th Street Harlem, New York. Just look for the large crowd listening and dancing to great soulful house, classics and afroBeats… you’ll find it.
Bring a picnic basket and your family your friends or come by yourself, this event is for everyone. Last Sundae Sermon in July was very crowded and I assume this one will be to, so if you want to set up a spot on the lawn come early.

Hope to see you all there. A big shout out to Stormin’ Norman and his ongoing efforts to make this #1 family afternoon party happen for our Harlem community. Let’s all go celebrate!
