On Easter Sunday, April 20th at 2:00pm, the “burger & milkshake joint” in the heart of Harlem will be partnering  with Susie Q, local celebrity fitness trainer and clothing designer, to offer guests an afternoon of line dancing, an Easter egg hunt, prizes and good food.

Harlem Shake has a full-day of celebrations planned: ·

2:30-3:30PM – Line dancing with Susie Q as the leader·

3:30-4:00PM – Easter egg hunt for children 12 and under with prizes!·

4:00PM – Best colored egg winner announcement.

Starting March 17th, each in-store purchase by a guest with a child will receive an egg coloring sheet. Children can color in their own creative design and drop it in a box to be entered into a contest for the best colored egg. One creative child will win a $50 gift card to Harlem Shake, and two runners up will win a $25 gift card. The restaurant will be serving two Easter themed milkshakes on Easter Sunday.

Try the Funny Bunny, a hazelnut chocolate shake with a chocolate Easter bunny hidden inside, or the Kool Peeps, a pistachio flavored shake topped with Peeps candy.

Signature items from the regular menu like specialty burgers, fries and shakes will also be available for purchase.

Happy Easter Weekend Harlem

Harlem will be a hotbed of Easter activity this weekend.  We found the signage below perfectly suited to the occasion.

By HarlemGuy

Many people don’t realize that this Easter happens to be the anniversary of Dr. King’s death.

Dr. King delivered an Easter sermon titled, “Questions that Easter Answers.” on April 27, 1957.

The richness and relevance of his message is well captured by Eddie S. Glaude on CNN.
