Update: On One Morningside Park in Harlem

IMG_1153

A large crane was spotted the other day at One Morningside Park in Harlem on 110th Street and Manhattan Ave.  The exterior of the building looks to be near completion, however there still seems to be a lot of work needed to finish the interior.   The original date we posted here at HCL for construction to be finished was by January 2014.  I think by March/April or even summer of 2014 is more realistic .  The building is over 50 percent sold with pricey units offering views of Morningside Park and Central Park many with balconies.

We will continue to keep you updated with progress reports on this condominium complex.  For more information on previous posts on One Morningside Park and other Harlem developments, please visit Harlem Condo Life and click on the Harlem Real Estatemenu item.

One Morningside Park – Your West Side Story (Update)

It has been a couple of months since our last update on One Morningside Park , the new condominium development on West 110th Street and Manhattan Avenue.  Comments are still coming in (both good and not so good) on previous posts while this building continues to go up at lightening speed.  Below is a photo of the building (framed by orange line) from the North side angle looking downtown and towards the West.  As you can see it is already a part of lower Harlem’s skyline.  I believe from our previous posts, it will rise a total of 22 floors upon completion.  That is the “Ariel” on Broadway showing in the background which is a soaring 37 floors.

A Broker (friend to HarlemCondoLife) informed us that he recently went to a courtesy preview of the building and they are going to have 69 units many with outdoor space and dirct views of Morningside Park and Central Park.  The sales office will be open officially in late August.  Stay tuned for future developments on One Morningside Park here at HarlemCondoLife.com.

One Morningside Park (update June 2013)

One Morningside Park, which we have been following and writing about since May of 2012 when it was an empty lot formerly known as 240 Manhattan Avenue, is now growing higher and faster each day.  They now have a website, contact information and real estate brokers available to discuss the future units, ONE MORNINGSIDE PARK

Construction already on the 6th floor and starting on the 7th they are visibly working at a faster pace.  We will continue to document the progress on One Morningside Park and share new information with you as it is presented to us.  This is going to be a 22 story condiminium located on 110th Street with Central Park and Morninside park views.  Many of the higher units will in addition have outdoor space.

See our previous posts on One Morninside Park (formerly referred to as 240 Manhattan Ave) for the history of this new development.

Selling New York – Features Harlem Yet Once Again On HGTV Tonight!

Screen Shot 2013-02-07 at 3.39.08 AM

A friend to our blog let us know that an episode of “Selling New York” will air tonight on the HGTV channel with many Harlem businesses represented.

From what I am told, you can expect to see on this particular episode the very popular 5 and Diamond Restaurant on Frederick Douglass Boulevard, Cedric French Bistro located on 119th Street, and Harlem’s famous Make my Cake on 116th Street.

Here is a clip from an episode of SELLING NEW YORK.

Already a fan of HGTV’s “Selling New York”, “House Hunters” and “House Hunters International” we are especially looking forward to seeing “our Harlem” represented on this new episode of Selling New York.  FYI, this is the third time Harlem has been represented on Selling New York.  We here at HarlemCondoLife are not at all surprised to see more attention coming to Harlem.

Make sure to tune in tonight  to “Selling New York” on HGTV at 6:30pm.
