Harlem suffers from a paucity of choices for fresh foods and vegetables and an abundance of fast food options – a combination sometimes referred to as a ”food desert.” The Harlem4 Center for Change, a community-based not-for-profit organization, is spearheading a coalition of groups in a “Food Movement” to address this issue. Join them this Saturday, October 9th, for THE HARLEM HARVEST FESTIVAL FRESH FOOD SUMMIT.
