It appears Tonnie’s Minis in Harlem has been closed for the last few weeks. A couple weeks ago friend to our blog DestinationHarlemTV mentioned it to us and I thought I’d give it a little time before posting to see if they would reopen. Passing by the other day they were still closed and I snapped this shot.
I spoke with the manager at their Broadway location today and was told the Harlem location is in fact closed but only temporarily. They hope to reopen again next week for business. Stay tuned… we will let you know as soon as we know when they have reopened so we can all go show our support!

I woke up this morning to this notice from Google Offers featuring a local Harlem favorite Tonnie’s Minis.
We’ve told you about both previously. Now is the time to try them in tandem.
Tonight, several Harlem businesses, such as Harlem Flo, The Winery, Make My Cake, Tonnie’s Minis, Aloft Hotel and Yatenga, are gathering together to “Kiss & Tell.” Well, not exactly that, but sort of! These Harlem businesses will be on hand Tuesday evening, starting at 6 p.m., to offer gift advice for Valentine’s Day. According to Harlem Flo’s Facebook site, the February 8th event will “feature unique and creative gifts items that you can purchase for your loved ones for V-day and there after.”
So if you need something for your cupid or yourself, head on over to Harlem Flo, second location at 2276 Frederick Douglass Blvd., at West 122nd Street.
Harlem’s Tonnie’s Minis, located at 264 Lenox Avenue, is competing tonight (January 4) on the Food Network’s Cupcake Wars. The show starts at 9 PM. Let’s show Tonnie’s Minis some love by turning on the tube tonight supporting our local cupcake store as they battle it out in the Cupcake Wars!
Turn to Channel 50, if you have Time Warner Cable!
