In May 2009, we inquired about the church located at 371 Manhattan Avenue. Our questions or…shall we say prayers…have been answered. This place of worship is in contract for big dinero, ie $2,200,000, to be exact! That’s a good chunk of change for the 4800 sq ft, 10 room place.
According to Corcoran, the place is under contract as commercial property. I asked if the church could be converted into residential property. I was directed by Corcoran to the certificate of occupancy. Where I looked, a C of O is not listed…yet. Maybe the City has a special place for church C of O’s?
