HarlemGuy reported a couple weeks back about Cedric Restaurant coming to Harlem. Cedric Lecendre, a Harlem resident and Bilboquet’s general manager and the nephew of its owner, Philippe Delgrange, has signed a lease for Cedric which will open within a month. Stopping by there last Friday I spoke briefly with Cedric and one of the employees. This will be a French Bistro and if reputation prevails the food will be good. I can say they are making great progress. As soon as I get an exact date I will share what I’ve learned. I look forward to reviewing Cedrics as soon as it opens.

This is a perfect time of the year to open – just in time for Summer dining. Cedric’s is located at 185 Saint Nicholas Ave at 119th St. where the old Mojos was (see prior review). This will be nice for the mini 119th street strip of restaurant/bars that includes Moca, Billie’s Black and directly next door the new Cedric Restaurant.
Stay tuned for news on the latest progress.
