Listen up and mark your calendar. Lara Land of Land Yoga will be hosting a very special event in Harlem on March 18th called “Taste Of India.”
Join us for a glamorous Bollywood night. Ticket includes two hours of Indian inspired cocktails, food, and music at Ginny’s Supper Club, Red Rooster’s downstairs Jazz Lounge. This one of a kind night includes a live Bollywood dance perrformance, exclusive auction items, and a chance to be decorated in henna body art.
This event is to benefit Odanadi, an organization that rescues and rehabilitates children sold into human trafficking. Every year in India, young people are lured away from their homes by criminal trafficking networks. Over the past 20 years Odanadi has carried out over 60 brothel raids and brought more than 140 traffickers to justice.
Sponsored by Land Yoga, Red Rooster, Riazul, Iceberg Vodka, and Harlem Blue.
Please show up and support this important cause and perhaps encourage the sponsors and Lara Land to make this an annual event for an important charitable community cause.
There are all different price ranges in which you can contribute according to your budget and what you can afford. No amount is too little, every dollar helps. See the details below.

Designed for the iPad, the Chloe the Yogi E-Book series was created as an answer to parents’ desire to see and experience what their children are learning in the increasingly popular yoga classes offered for children. It is the first book designed specifically to be enjoyed through electronic devices where both the child and the parent can benefit from seeing the movement in and out of the pose. The Chloe the Yogi E-book series is tailored toward children ages 3-7 and their parents.

Bread Alone, Horman’s Pickles, Brooklyn Cured Sausage, Breezy Hill Farm, Knoll Crest Farm, Cider Hill Farm, Glebocki Farm, Thousand Island Winery, Community Markets, Cabot Cheese will all participate, along with performances by the Dance Theater of Harlem, live music from a salsa band, and great activities for the kids. The restaurants will square off on omelets and entrées.
“The Festival has become a wonderful way to showcase the best of our amazing local businesses, not only to our neighbors, but also to the rest of the city as we invite everyone to travel uptown and experience first-hand one of New York City’s most exciting new shopping, dining, and nightlife destinations,” said Nikoa Evans-Hendricks, Executive Director of Harlem Park to Park. Lazy Afternoon Mix Vol. I and Vol. II
Not one but two new podcasts with ultra chill music for those lazy afternoons or peaceful weekend getaways. Great for yoga, winding down after work or bedtime music to help you relax. In many parts throughout these mixes you will hear beat-less grooves and ambient music with the occasional percussion coming in here and there. It is great for meditation and in parts sounds like a soundtrack or music for film. Both mixes start and end with the sound of waves rolling in. You will hear classical songs, electronic, mellow jazz, ambient, opera, down-tempos and a mix of relaxing world music.
To get your free downloads on iTunes click here Lazy Afternoon Mix (Vol. I) and (Vol. II) or to stream it click on Podbean.
