Cheri Harlem

Cheri Harlem

We recently had a lovely evening in Harlem at Cheri, the latest in what feels like a steady parade of new French eateries staking a claim to Harlem.

Cheri has a wonderful feel, a cross between a cozy intimate restaurant, someone’s brownstone home and French bistro.

The staff is incredibly friendly, and you can often find Cheri’s owner Alain Eoche’s there, as he lives above the restaurant, which means customers have his undivided attention.

The space is beautiful and offers a variety of special experience as you walk in.  Artwork is everywhere, both interesting, visually appealing and intelligent.

The staff is very friendly, attentive, and speak both French and English.

The food is tasty, plentiful and well priced.

The location is second to none and will only get better over time.

We really loved our visit and look forward to our next visit.
