The Ice Theatre of New York is again bringing its New Works and Young Artists Series to Riverbank State Park this month. Founded in 1984 by Moira North, Ice Theatre of New York is a not-for-profit ice dancing ensemble that has pioneered “performance skating”, an innovative blend of dance and ice skating. The New Works and Young Artists series allows emerging choreographers and performers an opportunity to present new works to the Harlem community. The performances are free and open to the public; they are followed by a free skating clinic for students from participating public schools. Riverbank State Park Skating Rink
