Children’s Monster Ball at Harlem Treasure Chest this Sunday

By NativeNewYorker

The Harlem Treasure Chest is an outdoor flea market that opened last spring on the corner of Frederick Douglass Blvd and West 117th Street.  They are partnering with Silent Voices United  to host a Children’s Monster Ball this Sunday afternoon, October 28th from noon to 4 pm.  This free children’s event will include lots of tricks & treats, books, rides and special guest appearances by community celebrities and artists, who will judge the “Pablo Pumpicasso Children’s Art & Best Halloween Costume Contest”.

This is Harlem Treasure Chest’s last weekend. I hope they will return next year.  I have enjoyed browsing there over the last few months and have found a couple of gems amidst the assorted wares.
