We found this article of great interest for one simple reason.
We know plenty of parents who live in high net worth communities outside of Harlem where the expectations and demands of the schools and their teachers and students are equal to or greater than those described in the article.
Good.
We should expect nothing less of or for the children of our communities. To expect anything less is to relegate our children to second class citizenship. Lowered expectations is not in the best interest of our community or our country.
