The winner of the Corner Social mural competition is Paul Deo. Congratulations to Paul and to all of the finalists for participating. I think it is great that Corner Social and the Harlem Arts Alliance involved the community with this mural project for the restaurant. The mural is very much in character with the comfortable vibe of this popular neighborhood hangout mixing a modern future with an historic past.
The outdoor mural is scheduled to be unveiled on Tuesday, November 27, 2012. This will add a colorful and artistic addition to the already historic architecture and restaurants on Lenox Avenue.
