The installation is best viewed as the sun begins to set and dusk approaches. All Along the Watchtower is made almost entirely of light reflective materials, the flash of the viewers camera will cause the materials to illuminate creating a soft glow all along the Acropolis.
Meet up with the artist and Marcus Garvey Park Alliance President Connie Lee at Heath Gallery at 7:45 pm and join us on a walk through of the Acropolis. Bring a camera with a flash or just your cell phone. The installation is sponsored by the Marcus Garvey Park Alliance Public Art Initiative with funding provided by the Harlem Community Development Corporation.
