*Gandhi preached and practiced non-violence. When I read Martin Luther King, Jr., and how he preached and practiced non-violence, I am reminded of Gandhi’s similar ways in our history. Employing non-violent civil disobedience, Gandhi led India to independence and inspired movements for non-violence, civil rights, and freedom across the world.
