Harlem’s latest development at The Cathedral of St. John The Divine

A new development will commence at The Cathedral of St. John The Divine in Harlem.  Building permits for two large residential towers (15 stories (149 ft) high) have been filed.  The towers will contain more than twice the number of units of the Avalon Morningside Park development.  The towers will be along most of the north side of the cathedral.  Community Board 9 held a special meeting on October 30th at which the developer was to have presented the plans.

  1. This is a horrible idea. One of the most beautiful public structures in Harlem and all of New York will be partially obstructed by another development.
