A four-bedroom, four-and-a-half bath duplex penthouse on W. 118th St. and Frederick Douglass Blvd. in Harlem’s SOHA Condominiums is the most expensive residential property in the area, topping the next in line by $100,000.  It is for sale and listed by Brown Harris Stevens agents Mark Powell and Shlomi Reuveni. The property was previously listed with Corcoran for $3.8 million.  The listing went to Brown Harris Stevens sometime last summer and included a $500,000 price increase.

The property is 3,456-square-foot.  Features include two terraces, one of which is 753 square feet, custom cabinets and flooring, large windows, a 24 hour doorman and a working gas fireplace.

Says one broker: “We’re seeing an amazing trend of crowds from the Upper West Side coming to the Frederick Douglass Blvd. area.  ”  “The corridor offers a great opportunity and value.”
