Panel: How to Impress Agents and Editors
Saturday September 20, 2:00pm – 4:00pm

Do you have a book idea and don’t know where to begin? Have you submitted to agents and editors and don’t understand why your work is rejected? Are you a published author and are confused by the industry? Co-founders of the Comadres and Compadres Writers Conference and Count on Me author Nora Comstock, literary agent Adriana Dominguez, and editorial consultant Marcela Landres will share essential steps to take–and missteps to avoid. Depending on the size of the audience, during Q&A each writer might have the opportunity to receive individual advice on his/her publishing journey. Fee: $25

Then….. Look for Las Comadres para las Americas and La Casa Azul Bookstore at the Brooklyn Book Festival.
Sunday, September 21, rain or shine!
