Harlem Holiday Windows 2017 kicks-off Wednesday, November 29th

Ready for the Holidays?  2017 HARLEM HOLIDAY WINDOWS are set to light up Lenox Avenue with two special events on Wednesday, November 29th at 6pm and Saturday, December 2nd at noon.  Both will feature staged dance, music, spoken-word and rap vignettes at businesses along Lenox Avenue between 117th and 127th Streets.

A CELEBRATION OF HISTORY AND CULTURE, SET TO KICK OFF THE HOLIDAY SEASON.

Festive Window Designs Depict Scenes inspired by seven Traditional Harlem Celebrations that take place throughout the year: Three Kings Day, Christmas, Hanukah, Loiza, Ramadan, Kwanzaa, and Harlem Week.

The season runs from: Nov 29, 2017 thru Jan 2, 2018

Tour the 7 business windows designed and executed by undergraduates from Fashion Institute of Technology’s interdisciplinary Visual Presentation and Exhibition Design (VPED) program, Additional Lenox Avenue businesses, will feature the designs of local artists, curated by OmoMisha.
