Polished Finger Tips opens in Harlem, another new business on Frederick Douglass Boulevard

By HarlemGal for HarlemCondoLife
When I was heading to Best Yet Market on Friday, I noticed a new store had opened right by Just Wingin It. It is called Polish Finger Tips located at 2198 Frederick Douglass Blvd. They opened April 21st and now offer spa services, which includes manicures, pedicures, waxing, facials and more. On top of that, there are clothes to purchase inside this place. So when you visit Polished Finger Tips you can shop for clothes while you wait for your mani/pedi or facial appointment. I tried out their manicure for $15 dollars on Friday and it came out very nice. I was pleased with the results, service and I enjoyed looking around at the decor. Whoever decorated the place did a nice job. I plan to go back soon for a pedicure.

Now Harlemites have two options in the area to get nails and feet polished. There is Z Nail Salon on 116th and now Polished Finger Tips!

  1. It is our intention to post what we see and feel. Maybe HarlemGal is guilty of strolling up and down Frederick Douglass Blvd a bit too much. She has so much fun hanging in this area. However, other HCL bloggers on this site have posted about other parts of Harlem, such as Sugar Hill or Spanish Harlem, etc.

  2. I went to Polished today for a pedicure…a bit expensive, but very nice and a welcome addition to FDB!

  3. Thanks for all the comments here. We appreciate it very much.

Again, thanks for reading HCL and see you around!

  4. Fred, why don’t you start your own blog. Call it, the “I Shoulda Woulda Coulda But I Dropped The Ball And Now I’m Sour I Didn’t Choose FDB Over Where I Live Now” Blog

  5. I think you should re-name your blog to “Frederick Douglass Blvd Life” since 70 to 80% of your posts seem to be about stores etc. on this one street.

  6. We’re on our way….now, if we could get something really useful like a diner or an art supply store.
I hear Empire Diner in Chelsea is closing & looking for another area to open. They would be so welcomed up here.
