DJ Louie Vega on the decks @ Sundae Sermon

HarlemHouse                                                                                   HARLEM’S #1 FAMILY SUNDAY AFTERNOON OF SOULFUL HOUSE, AFRO BEATS AND CLASSICS!
Sometimes we take for granted all the great events right at our fingertips here in Harlem.  Last Sunday was a jam packed event in Harlem’s Morningside park at Summer Sundays in 2010 “Sundae Sermon” with DJ Louie Vega and DJ Kevin Hedge.  All the DJ’s did not disappoint blending the prefect selection of Classics,  House, Latin & AfroBeats.  This is music that makes people feel good!  Morningside Park is the perfect location for a diverse audience of all ages and cultures to enjoy a fun afternoon of music and relaxation. Checkout Video’s below.  For those of you who haven’t been yet and don’t necessarily want to dance, bring a blanket & picnic basket & sit on the hill with friends and enjoy the vibe.  The next Summer Sundays in 2010 will be on Aug 1, Aug 29, Sept 12 and Sept 26 from 3-7pm.  This is a very diverse family crowd with a lot of people you may know from the neighborhood who all appreciate good music.

Louie Vega & Kevin Hedge always draw a crowd whether it’s at Cielo dowtown, Miami, or last Sunday here in Harlem’s Morningside Park. Louie had a feel good set which I especially enjoyed when he broke into some salsa and Latin house. Kevin Hedge at the end of the night played two Stevie Wonder classics back to back which was the perfect ending to perfect day.

  5. I missed this one , but I will check out the next event for sure! This vibe reminds me of the skaters circle in central park, a feeling of “peace love and having fun” with great music.
