Beautiful bike messengers spotted in Harlem

If you’ve seen these two individuals in the photos below biking around Harlem, don’t hire them or give them a package to deliver. First, they are way too cute and second, these are actually the lead actors for Premium Rush, a film about a bike messenger who picks up a package at Columbia University. Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Inception) and Dania Ramirez (“Heroes”) star in the film and have been on set in Harlem the past two days.

On Monday, they were filming along West 110th Street from Manhattan Ave to Amsterdam Avenue. Today, Tuesday, they were spotted at 145th Street and Broadway. I think it’s fair to say the director picked some hills that stretch far for biking scenes. Some of us have biked around Harlem and can attest our hills can give you a workout. I wonder if Joseph and Dania have experienced what we have?

Premium Rush is expected to be in theaters in 2011!

  1. I wish I could tell you that. Darn. If you see big white truck parked along your street or fliers posted to poles or trees saying “don’t park here,” they might be in your area. I found a flier and saw the big trucks along 110th Street. Plus a reader left us a message on another story. That’s how I found out! They’re cute…huh?
