This Tuesday, November 9th at 7 pm, the Dwyer Cultural Center presents the first of three events in their “Black Arts Movement Summit” series. Tuesday’s event focuses on theater and features a dialogue with poet-playwright-activist Amiri Baraka, a legendary figure in the Movement, and a dynamic performance by next-generation playwright and Obie Award-winning actor Daniel Beaty.
