This Friday, July 15th, from 12 noon to 4 pm, the Federation of Black Cowboys will again transform West 113th Street (between Frederick Douglass Blvd & Manhattan Avenue) into a rodeo. The cowboys will be demonstrating their riding skills and rope tricks right here in Harlem.
The event is sponsored annually by the Hale House Supportive Transitional Housing Program. Bring the kids for games, music, pony rides and to learn about the contributions of African Americans to the history of the American West.
