The Harlem Health Promotion Center (HHPC) is a collaboration of community, academic, and public health stakeholders which uses research, education, advocacy, and service delivery to improve the health and well-being of the Harlem community. IT has worked for over 20 years, with leaders and members of the Harlem community to promote the health and well-being of the neighborhood. The web site provides local information about getting and staying healthy.
A NEW and IMPROVED GetHealthyHarlem.org website has been launched. A celebration will occur at Harlem Tavern on Wednesday, August 31 · 5:00pm – 8:00pm, 2153 Frederick Douglass Bvld.
An additional event will be held on August 30, 2011, from 4:30-6:30pm at 125th Street Library (224 East 125th Street by 3rd Ave.)
Site improvements include viewing and posting made EASIER, more health information TAILORED to Northern Manhattan, and the ability to post your own events on the COMMUNITY CALENDAR !
