Three weeks ago we first reported that construction had begun “Construction Begins” on 110th street and Manhattan Avenue for a new Condominium. Well we now have an update with the final design of Manhattan Tower and information from GF55 Partners. It appears the condo tower will stand 22 stories high making it the tallest new development in South Harlem in the last couple of years. I believe 5th On the Park is the tallest. At this time being referred to as Manhattan Tower it will offer a total of 69 units with direct Central Park views.
Only three weeks back there was one crane on the site and there are now two. This is a good sign that construction is moving along nicely towards a final completion date of January 2014.
We will continue to keep you posted on South Harlem’s newest development.
The gas station is the next block over on 110th & FDB (another potential development still in negotiations) This one is located on the corner of 110th & Manhattan Ave and so far they are predicting it to be completed by the beginning of 2014.
