Finefare Grocery In Harlem

img_2986Last Saturday HarlemGuy of HarlemCondoLife.com ventured to Finefare Supermarket.  Think of it as Harlem’s version of a Whole Foods.  Located on 116th and Lenox Ave.  It is deceptively cavernous.  Always packed.  Great prices.  Great selection.  Convenient location.  Go there and you can one stop shop within a 1 block radius.  Pharmacy.  Banking.  Fish.  Gifts.  Pet supplies.  Best of all it is right on the “red” line which affords rapid ascent uptown or descent downtown.

Have you been to Finefare?  We’d love to hear your comments on the experience.

  1. I always shop there. They have great deals, fresh produce, lots of cheese. Always affordable. I can even find my favorite pomegranate juice which is imported from Turkey (PomeQueen) lol

  2. The Fine Fare is surprisingly large and the selection is good – though the fresh produce is limited and often not so fresh. The wide aisles are like some suburban supermarket and the extended hours are convenient. They even have Murray’s chickens!

  3. Yes, it is on Lenox. It’s almost my second home! Can definitely get pretty chaotic at times, but they do strive to get a variety of goods in there. And the people working there are very nice.
