Harlem you do not want to miss this. The legendary Jimmy Scott will be performing for three nights live at Ginny’s Supper Club. I recently just had the privilege of seeing him perform in Tribeca at Duane Park to a sold out show. He is in a class by himself and carries with him a long honorable legacy that you simply have to experience.
I’m sure this event will sell out so if you haven’t yet seen Jimmy perform live or if you have and haven’t reserved tickets yet, make sure you do not miss out on what I’m sure will be a memorable three nights of singing.

A 3-night Spectacular Event
Produced by Jill Newman Productions.
This incredible American vocalist needs no introduction: The legendary JIMMY SCOTT descend upon Ginny’s for a special three-night engagement on June 6th, 8th, and 9th. Performing two sets each night (8pm and 10:30pm), Ginny’s is honored to host “Little” Jimmy Scott as he performs hits from his 70-year career as a prominent player in music history.
Having performed with Charlie Parker, Sarah Vaughan, Quincy Jones, Ray Charles, and Lester Young, JIMMY SCOTT is also a favorite of contemporary talents like Lou Reed, Elton John, Madonna and Flea from The Red Hot Chili Peppers. Who can forget his singing of “Why Was I Born” during President Bill Clinton’s 1993 inauguration? Ginny’s is proud to be able to showcase this 86-year-old maestro and we promise it will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. A special menu will be created for this legendary night.
Showtimes: 8pm & 10:30pm; Wednesday, June 6th, Friday, June 8th, and Saturday, June 9th.
Tickets: $40 for seats, $20 standing room at the bar.
